Earlybird Seed can also help you mitigate early season risk with a fully customized seed treatment facility. Regardless of whether you are looking for disease protection from yield robbing pathogens or needing to add a high-quality soybean inoculant to the mix for a field coming out of continuous corn, we can precisely apply the right treatment. All seed treated at Earlybird comes standard with four fungicides for superior control of Pythium, Phytophthora, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, & early infection of SDS and imidicloprid insecticide for early season protection from insects.  We have the capability to treat on-demand so you are not stuck with treated seed at the end of the year.  In addition, Earlybird Seed has bulk boxes and seed tenders available for customer use during the planting season.

Earlybird Feed and Fertilizer is proud to announce the addition of Seth Kauffman to our Agronomy Team.   He will handle crop seed sales, seed treatment, and application mapping.  Seth grew up in the Goshen, Indiana area surrounded by farming and “the farm lifestyle”.  He attended the University of Northwestern Ohio majoring in Diesel and Agricultural Mechanics.  Seth worked as a mechanic or road technician for 3.5 years before transiting to a crop consulting company.  There, he gained valuable experience scouting crops, soil sampling, and selling fertilizer.   Seth is excited to make this transition and looks forward to working with all of the farmers of this area. If you have any questions or would like to meet Seth, his contact information is listed below.
